Mrs. Wilson is starting her 19th year of education and is our new Principal this year! She is so excited to be a part of the Foothills community, working with parents, teachers, and students. The past two years she has been an assistant principal here in Jordan School District. She has also taught kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grades; and has been a district literacy specialist. In fact, she helped open Foothills in 2003, and taught 2nd grade for two years before resigning to have her twins. She attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate work in Human Development and Family Studies, as well as her graduate work, receiving a Master of Education with an emphasis in Literacy. She also attended Weber State University for her ESL endorsement and Western Governors University for her Educational Administration license. She loves to run, read, and learn new things! Her and her husband live in Riverton with their family. They have two boys, 21 and 15; as well as twin girls, who are 12; as well as a new daughter in-law! They love to travel, especially going on cruises and to their family cabin. They also love to play card games and watch movies together. Mrs. Wilson loves to eat Mexican food and drink Dr. Pepper.
