Jill Hansen
Biography
My name is Jill Strate and I am proud to be part of the Foothills Mustangs Community!! I am from South Jordan, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the UVU, and am currently working on my Masters in Educational Leadership. This is my 5th year teaching 3rd grade and I love it!
I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, & language—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
I have two kids who are in 9th and 6th grade this year. We moved to Herriman a year ago and have two dogs and a tortoise. I also enjoy reading, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!!
