Mrs. Wilson is starting her 23rd year of education and has been at Foothills for over four years now! She loves the Foothills community, working with parents, teachers, and students. She has also taught Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grades in her education career; and has been a district literacy specialist. In fact, she helped open Foothills in 2003 and taught 2nd grade for two years before resigning to have her twins. She attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate work in Human Development and Family Studies, as well as her graduate work, receiving a Master of Education with an emphasis in Literacy. She also attended Weber State University for her ESL endorsement and Western Governors University for her Educational Administration license. She is currently working on her doctorate in Organizational and Instructional Leadership at Texas Tech University-Lubbock and loves it! She’ll enjoy doing that for another two and a half years! 🙂 She loves to run, read, cook, and learn new things! She lives in Riverton with her family. They have two boys, 25 and 19; as well as twin girls, who are 16; as well as a daughter-in-law and 2-year old grandson! She and her family love to travel, especially going on cruises and to Disneyland. They also love to play card games and watch movies together. Mrs. Wilson loves to eat Mexican food, especially chips and salsa, and drink Dr. Pepper!
